Hi! I’m Val, and I am so glad that you are here.
People often tell me I’m funny, kind, and someone who really cares about others. I like putting people first and helping whenever I can, even if it means going out of my way. I guess you could say I am a bit of a people-pleaser, but I really enjoy making others smile. I think I am a creative person. I like coming up with fun ideas, whether it’s planning a celebration or coloring. I also love making collages and
handwritten/drawing birthday cards for my friends! They aren’t professional if I am being honest, sometimes it looks like a kindergartner made them, but I love making them because they are fun to make, and also they come from the heart.
Spending time with my friends is one of my favorite things to do. Some of my best memories are simple moments just hanging out together, laughing, and having fun. I love celebrating birthdays and special moments, not just for having celebrations, but for the happy moments and just being together. Every laugh and adventure with my friends makes my life feel a little brighter.
Traveling is another thing that I enjoy. One of my favorite trips that I have taken was to Mexico. I really loved going here, not only because it was a vacation, but it was a mission trip. I got to help with the Vacation Bible School that the church had put on. It was amazing getting to help and work with kids and just seeing the joy on their faces. I also got to meet some of my parents’ family members and explore new places, going on little “side quests” to learn and experience things I don’t really get to experience here in the States. Every moment felt exciting, full of learning, and reminded me how much I love discovering new experiences and sharing them with others.
Looking to the future, my biggest dream is to become a teacher. I want to make a difference in people’s lives, just like the people who have inspired me along the way. I hope to help students learn, grow, and feel supported, while sharing my creativity, kindness, and love for fun activities like coloring, making collages, and crafting birthday cards with them every day. I also hope to become an influencer one day, sharing my creativity, adventures, and cute little videos online to make people smile. Teaching and creating content both feel like perfect ways for me to combine my love for helping others with my passion for creativity and sharing joy.
Overall, I think life is about enjoying the little moments, being there for others, and celebrating the joy around us. Whether I’m hanging out with friends, traveling, coloring, making collages, making birthday cards, or dreaming about the future, I try to live each day with kindness, laughter, and creativity.
